Amazon Halloween Giveaway!!!!

On Halloween I'm going to giveaway a $25 AMAZON GIFT CARD for one lucky winner who follows my blog and comments on any post with their favorite Halloween costume. If the follow button doesn't pop up try reloading the page. That usually does it.

I'll go first. When my husband and I were dating we went to a party and I was dressed as a butterfly and he was dressed as a butterfly catcher, complete with giant net.

Now your turn.

Bonus: Halloween hotness

  1. Went to a party one year with my sister and a friend and my (favorite) Halloween costume was a saloon girl outfit. A red corset (made my little smokies look great), black lacy skirt hiked up on the side with fishnet hose and granny ankle boots. I received plenty of good and bad propositions, but towards the end of the night, the skeleton man who was being extremely persistent in trying to gain my favors forgot to mention he had a fairy princess girlfriend and said girlfriend got ugly and I almost had to turn the party out. So, an alcohol-fueled verbal altercation led to me and my posse being thrown out, but I still had a good time anyway.

  2. I dressed up for work ones as a cop with the handcuff and hat. Well, I bought the outfit before Halloween USA carried this kind of outfit so it was from Hot Topics. I added fishnet stockings and knee high leather boots with 4 inch heels.

Did I mention I work in IT? Yeah, 5 years after that halloween, I didn't live it down. I never had so many guys stop by my desk to talk about absolutely nothing. The next day, a couple of the guys insisted I was a Dominatrix with a riding crop in hand. O_O

Fortunately, all that did was out the guys as kinky subs. They were corrected by other guys going, "no, she was a cop, no riding crop. Dude, we didn't know you were into S&M!" (I don't think they ever lived that down.)

Now I don't dress up in a costume for work.

  3. When I was 4 my mom made me a blue bunny costume. Why blue? Because she couldn't find any white fabric that she could afford. I didn't care, I was a bunny! (Although I was kind of annoyed when my little brother ate my carrot half way through the party.)

  4. Butterfly and butterfly catcher - super cute! Here in South Africa we aren't that big into Halloween :( - I know right, WTF?! But in high school I went to a Halloween party dressed as... Barbie and then on another occassion I went as Mrs Clause (the sexy version) lol. Those are the only 2 Halloween events I've been to... yeah it's sad!

  5. Two years ago my bff was a demon priest and I was a fallen angel! Hubby just so happened to snap a pic at the perfect moment when she was pretending to bite me and it looked like my eyes were bugging out of my head! One of my fav moments. :)

  6. My favorite Halloween costume was probably when I dressed up as a Fear Factor contestant. I wore exercise shorts and top and glued fake spiders all over and made a Fear Factor contestant sign thingy that I pinned to my back. It was simple but it was fun and different. :)

  7. My favorite Halloween costume was the one I dressed up as this year. I was a zombie with my brains exposed. I loved how people reacted to it.

A close second was the Demon priest Surfin4Disney posted about. I was one heck of a demon.

  8. Many years ago, my husbands Brother (does that count?) used old boxes and did a robot costume. I've seen the pictures and he looked fantastic. He even won a local costume contest. Back then, he won a 'Walkman'. It was awesome then....

  10. This year I'm going as Alice and my husband is the Mad Hatter. It helps that we had a Alice in Wonderland themed wedding last year, so we have lots of props and things :)

  11. The best Halloween costume I ever had was as part of Def Leppard. My friends and I dressed up like the band. I was Joe, with the leather pants and Union Jack t and mullet hair cut. It was a trip. Could I be more Gen-X if I tried?
